Samsung Galaxy S5 mini

Screen not working, not responsive

Problem

This phone was from a visitor. One need to push with a finger down on the upper right corner of the phone to make the screen working. This made typing on the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini a pain.

Solution

I managed to open the front screen panel. It's glued in with some special glue. Just slowly worked around the edges. After that, it was clear that the display plug was open, not connected. So the problem was if you drop this phone, the screen plug can go off and does not make good contact any more. To prevent this problem, I added a little support right behind the plug.
