So we can expect that the Swift pro\u00adgramming lan\u00adguage will be run\u00adning on Win\u00addows, Linux and <span class=\"caps\">OS<\/span> X, iOS, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Any\u00adway, the <span class=\"caps\">OS<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">API<\/span>\u2019s will not be avail\u00adable. So you can not write an <span class=\"caps\">OS<\/span> X App\u00adli\u00adca\u00adtion in Swift and run in strait on Windows - but the Swift programming language will become more and more powerful on other platforms nut just Apple's OS X and iOS.<\/p>\n<pre>println(\"Hello from Swift.
